I can’t stay for the whole time, is that okay?

Absolutely! This a drop-in event.

What is the dress for this event?

Come as you are! Festive holiday attire is encouraged if you’d like to dress up.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes! The more the merrier!

I’m not sure if I’ll be able to attend. Do I have to RSVP?

Having an idea of how many people are coming helps our staff plan. However, if you’re not able to RSVP or forget, it’s okay. We’d still love for you to attend.

Where is the Shelton McMurphey Johnson House located?

The house is located on the south side of Skinner Butte at 330 Willamette Street, off Third and Pearl.

Is there parking near the house, or do I have to take the cement stairs?

While the stairs are the most visible entry point to the House, they are not the only access. There is accessible parking located on each side of the house, including parking for individuals who have a handicap placard. You access this parking lot off of Pearl Street at the corner of Third. You will turn left, stay to the left at the fork, and drive through the Ya-Po-Ha Terrace staff parking to the gravel lot just beyond. Parking is also available at the lot behind the train station on the south side of Shelton-McMurphey Boulevard.
